These SMS Terms and Conditions govern the Tower Climbing Grease Monkeys Mobile Messaging Program (the "SMS Program") offered by Tower Climbing Grease Monkeys, also known as TCGM, LLC ("TCGM," "we," "us," or "our"). By opting in to the SMS Program, you agree to these SMS Terms and Conditions.

Program Description

The SMS Program provides recurring informational and promotional text messages from TCGM. Messages may include:

  • TCGM Tech Tour announcements, route updates, event details, and site-stop information;

  • Giveaway announcements, entry reminders, deadlines, and winner updates;

  • Job-posting alerts and wind-industry opportunities;

  • Merchandise, Monkey Sweat, G Kit, and other product updates;

  • Community news, content, surveys, and requests for feedback; and

  • Other TCGM news, offers, and updates.

Consent to Receive Text Messages

By submitting your mobile number through a TCGM SMS signup form and affirmatively agreeing to receive text messages, you authorize TCGM and service providers acting on our behalf to send recurring automated marketing and informational text messages to the mobile number you provided.

Your consent applies only to messages from TCGM unless another sender is clearly identified when you opt in. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

Email consent and SMS consent are separate. Providing your email address, previously communicating with TCGM, joining a TCGM email list, making a purchase, entering a giveaway, or providing a phone number for another purpose does not by itself enroll you in the SMS Program.

You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided and that you are authorized to consent to messages at that number. If your mobile number changes or is reassigned, please opt out before discontinuing use of the number or contact us so we can update our records.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on tour activity, events, job postings, giveaways, product releases, promotions, and your interactions with TCGM. The number of messages you receive may change from week to week or month to month.

Message and Data Rates

TCGM does not charge a separate fee to participate in the SMS Program. Message and data rates may apply according to the terms of your wireless service plan. Contact your wireless carrier if you have questions about your text or data plan.

How to Opt Out

You may cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any TCGM text message. We may also recognize standard opt-out keywords such as END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. After you opt out, you may receive one final text confirming that your request was processed.

You may also withdraw consent by contacting us at tcgm@tcgm.us and clearly stating that you no longer want to receive TCGM text messages. We will process opt-out requests within a reasonable time as required by applicable law.

After opting out, you will not receive further SMS Program messages unless you separately opt in again. Opting out of SMS does not automatically unsubscribe you from TCGM email communications. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link provided in those emails.

Delivery and Carrier Disclaimer

Message delivery is subject to network availability, carrier support, device compatibility, and other conditions outside TCGM's control. Messages may be delayed or may not be delivered. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. TCGM and its service providers do not guarantee that every message will be delivered or received at a particular time.

Supported carriers and messaging features may change without notice.

Privacy

TCGM handles information collected through the SMS Program as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may share SMS-related information with Mailchimp and with messaging-platform, telecommunications, carrier, hosting, and technical service providers as needed to operate, maintain, secure, and support the SMS Program, comply with law, and honor your communication choices.

Personal Information collected through the SMS Program, including mobile numbers, opt-in data, and consent records, will not be sold, rented, or shared with affiliated or unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the age of majority in your place of residence to enroll in the SMS Program. The SMS Program is intended for subscribers in the United States with a supported mobile number and wireless carrier.

Changes to the SMS Program or These Terms

We may modify, suspend, or end the SMS Program, change the number or platform used to send messages, or update these SMS Terms and Conditions, subject to applicable law. The current version will be posted on this page with the date of the latest update.

When required by law, we will provide additional notice or request renewed consent. Your continued participation in the SMS Program after an update means you accept the revised terms, except where renewed consent is required.
